This category of job descriptions is broad, going from dog walkers to taxidermists to medically trained veterinarians. The common thread of course is a passion for working with animals. Depending on the sophistication of the role, you may be focused on softer skills like friendliness while others may require strict schooling and educational requirements and years of experience.

Make sure to clarify exactly what’s important in the role you’re seeking, what the work environment is like (for example, is outdoor activity required, is it a collaborative atmosphere, etc.) and what hard skills are ‘must haves.’  Don’t forget to highlight what’s unique about your organization and why someone should work for you rather than someplace else.
