Construction Job Descriptions

Construction-related jobs cover various functions related to helping build, repair and maintain residential and commercial properties.  They may involve overseeing building and renovation projects from beginning to end or coordinating with architects and engineers to create and implement construction plans and schedules.  Strong organizational skills are required and often particular certifications may be needed as well.

Construction type roles may also need certain education (e.g. vocational degrees) and analytical skills and quantitative aptitude.  Strong communication skills, understanding of blueprints and typically specific relevant experience are most sought after.  Find the job template most similar to the role you need and update it with the specific skills, background and type of experience you need (e.g., commercial, residential, etc.).  If there are particular characteristics of the work environment, or the types of location where the work will be performed, make sure to include those.
