- Assesses vehicle condition and recommends possible solutions for customers
- Washes vehicles using different tools such as high-pressure washers and automatic car wash equipment
- Applies protective and restorative agents to a car’s interior and exterior
- Drives cars to locations specified by the customer
- Manages inventory and re-orders supplies when needed
- Handles client ad hoc requests and inquiries
Auto Detailer Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- State driver’s license with a good record
- At least 1 year of detailing experience is preferred
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Physical ability to lift objects of up to 30 lbs and perform manual labor
- No visual impairments (color blindness, lack of depth perception, etc.)
