In the dietary aide role, you will provide a link between the patient and the kitchen staff to handle any questions and concerns. You will also sanitize the facility’s dining areas for patient use while adhering to facility health and safety standards. - Works with kitchen staff and dietary managers to prepare patient meals
- Properly disposes of leftovers and other waste
- Delivers plates, glasses, and utensils to the cleaning station
- Aids in the maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Delivers meals to patients’ rooms
- Monitors patient menu schedules
Dietary Aide Job Requirements
- High school diploma; certification in food service is preferred
- Proficient in operating cookware, bakeware, and other cooking appliances
- Warm personality with good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Can diligently follow instructions
- Prior experience in customer service or food service is a plus
