We are seeking a highly motivated Executive - Accounts Receivable to join our Finance team on a full-time basis:
Position Description (A brief overview of the overall purpose of the position)
Responsible for accounting of 3rd party and Intercompany invoices, resolving invoice discrepancies, accounting cash receipts and its application. Responsible for resolving invoice discrepancies, payment collections and updating customer accounts, Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth Accounts Receivable process. Adhering to policies and procedures regarding AR management, supports continuous improvement of Accounts Receivable processes.
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Responsible for accounting of collection and cash application.
- Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies, and reconciliation of customer accounts
- Handle escalations regarding collections and resolution of customer disputes
- Support process standardization across multiple business units and regions within the Accounts receivable environment.
- Support initiatives to enhance AR processes, automation and best practices.
- Prepare and present AR performance reports, including aging analysis.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations (e.g., SOX compliance).
- Optimize the use of ERP systems (QAD).
- Sox Compliance.
- Will be part of the implementation of an upgraded ERP system for the Finance module
