This role combines deep technical expertise, product understanding, and communication skills, offering a unique opportunity to influence how Cairo evolves and how developers use it.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop a deep understanding of Cairo, how it works, and why it’s designed the way it is.
• Define and drive improvements to Cairo, making it the best programming language possible.
• Engage with the developer community—communicate Cairo’s advantages, gather feedback, create a smooth cairo-learning experience, and drive adoption.

Stay at the forefront of programming language evolution, ensuring Cairo remains innovative and competitive.

Core Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience 
• A top-tier Senior software engineer – someone who lives and breathes code.
• Strong experience with low-level programming, compilers, or systems engineering.
• Deep knowledge of Rust, functional programming, or similar languages.
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
• Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

 Great-to-Have Skills

• Experienced with writing or optimizing compilers
• Experienced with contributing to open-source projects and communities
