We are currently searching for a QA Engineer – Snowflake:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ETL test plans and test cases based on requirements analysis.
  • Perform all levels of ETL testing, including functional, integration, system, smoke, regression, and UAT support.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and quality assurance.
  • Conduct data analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity across different data layers.
  • Validate Dimensional Modeling structures, including Star and Snowflake Schemas.
  • Work with ETL workflows and job schedulers like Airflow or Camunda.
  • Test and validate data within Snowflake and CDP environments (Hive/Impala).
  • Own the test planning, estimation, strategy, scenario development, and technical test case

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in ETL testing.
  • Strong expertise in SQL query writing and data validation.
  • Proficiency in Dimensional Modeling, ETL workflows, and job scheduling applications.
  • Experience in system integration, migration, regression, smoke, and UAT testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and CDP (Hive/Impala).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
  • Familiarity with Python or scripting languages for test automation.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms beyond Snowflake.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
