We are currently searching for a L3 Support Java:
Responsibilities
- Provide L3 technical support for mission-critical Java-based applications in production environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Java/J2EE (REST API, Servlets, Spring, Hibernate), multi-server environments (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat), and databases (DB2, Oracle, Sybase).
- Execute and validate code changes (Java, Unix scripts, SQL) in production following SDLC compliance.
- Collaborate with L2/L3 teams to troubleshoot incidents, problems, and changes using tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
- Monitor systems using schedulers (Autosys, crontab) and ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management).
Requirements
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Java development AND L2+/L3 production support.
- Advanced expertise in:
- Java/J2EE stack: Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Spring, Hibernate.
- Unix/Linux scripting (shell, Perl) and IDE tools (Eclipse, NetBeans).
- CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins) and application servers.
- Proven ability to debug and modify code in production environments.
- Fluency in ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and ITIL frameworks.
- Advanced Oral English.
Desired:
- Experience with job schedulers (Autosys, procmon).
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and high-availability systems.
