About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated bookkeeper to join our finance department. As Sensi’s Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping, daily accounting operations, and closing procedures.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of the finance function in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, while ensuring our systems are up to date, scalable, and empowering the organization to thrive in a fast-evolving landscape.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process, verify and reconcile AP invoices, including preparing and managing month-end and mid-month payment processes.
- Accounts Receivable billing process.
- Conduct reconciliation of the company's bank account and credit card activities.
- Preparation of payroll reports and related reports, including governmental & regulatory filings.
- Report VAT and vendor tax withholding reports to Israeli authorities.
- Provide support during financial audits and tax filings.
- Manage intercompany entries and reconciliations.
- Review and process expense reimbursements and travel reports.
- Prepare the trial balance and supporting documentation for the monthly closing process.
- Assistance with cash flow and treasury processes.
- Perform other finance ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within a multinational company.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as the sole bookkeeper in an Israeli company that has at least 1 foreign subsidiary.
- Proficient in working with Netsuite
- Certified bookkeeper (Type 2/3)
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel
Nice to Have:
- Experience with payroll
- Experience working with Stripe and Mesh Payments
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax preparation
- Experience with the implementation of accounting tools
- Experience working with a US subsidiary
