The team has a strategic position within the department while being involved in all product lifecycle stages to promise efficient and qualitative delivery. Data Management is responsible for Evoke's Data Warehousing platforms and data integrations across all of our brands and products.

Role Objective:

• Domain and technical Knowledge: Can demonstrate a working understanding of the online gaming industry, compliance, product domain knowledge and wider digital trends. Can demonstrate an appreciation for the tech lifecycle and development processes.
• Customer focus: Understands the customer, knows the importance of customer validation through user testing. Understands KPIs and NFRs how to identify and track. Takes time to understand and communicate the needs of end users and internal customers.
• Product Lifecycle Management & Data Roadmap: Understands the solution life-cycle stages and product performance. Can contribute to the creation of initiatives and the product council process. Is aware of competitor analysis and product market positioning. Can articulate the customer and business impact of the product.
• Agile: Understands and can effectively contribute to scrum rituals including, team planning sessions, refinement sessions, demos and retrospectives. Can create and review excellent user stories. Understands prioritisation and validation techniques based on customer and business value to manage a product backlog.  
• Long Term Vision: Understands the strategic goals and how they fit into our broader business priorities.

What you'll be doing:

• You will be responsible for working closely with the product owners across various channels to analyze and document the requirements of various data platform projects.
• Your analysis and documentation will be used by the Data Architecture team to design cutting edge solutions for Evoke’s cloud based data capabilities.
• Gather business requirements, identifying technical and functionality gaps, and translating the business needs to technical requirements for development
• Define data models, reporting, and dashboards for regulatory & analytic needs
• Help to troubleshoot data and product issues.  

Key relationships:

You will converse with a wide variety of stakeholders and colleagues across Evoke in order to help meet their needs for our Data Warehouse solutions. Some of the main relationships will be with the Business Analytics teams, Finance, Commercial and Product areas.

• Ability to use SQL to provide analysis on data within application databases
• Experience in data process definition and analysis (using best practice methods such as BPMN)
• Experience liaising with stakeholders to elicit requirements, use of system design concepts, propose solutions and translate these for other members of the development team.
• Experience in delivering within data warehousing and BI change projects in an analysis capacity.
• Experience in data analytics, business performance reporting, data operations and data governance
• Knowledge and experience of system development methodologies
• Knowledge of various standards, methods and tools that can be used to elicit and document requirements
• Workshop facilitation experience
• Ability to decompose high level business architecture down to requirements frameworks
• Ability to create and sustain effective stakeholder relationships
• Resilient and proactive with a strong delivery focus
• Understanding of Cloud based data platforms.  
• Experience working with SQL Server and Snowflake – advantage.
• Experience with Business Object; Tableau and Power BI -advantage
