BDR is seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be based in the National Capital Region (NCR) with the bulk of their duties performed virtually from their home office. However, candidates not based in the NCR are welcome to apply and work 100% remote as long as they are able to support EST work hours.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will have expertise and an accomplished track record recruiting across a wide spectrum of technical disciplines specifically within the Information Technology (IT), Program Management, Advisory and Administrative Support, Data & Business Analytics, Supply Chain, and other Professional Services markets . This position requires a responsive and motivated individual capable of managing and adjusting to competing priorities to sustain the workforce and the demands of BDR's Federal Civilian, Dept. of Defense, and Intelligence Community (IC) contracts. This position is performance based, with excellent compensation upside when successfully achieving talent acquisition targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop job descriptions that will attract the target candidate pool and encourage them to apply.
- Source, screen and submit qualified technical and cleared professionals for active projects and/or proposals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Identify qualified candidates using a variety of recruitment tools (job boards, networking sites, databases, search engines, direct sourcing, complex internet searches, and social media platforms).
- Interview candidates using a variety of methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions).
- Maintain the applicant tracking system by documenting all communications and engagements with candidates and keeping meticulous notes.
- Guide and manage candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Successfully negotiate candidate compensation requests and close candidates within budget.
- Compose and issue offer letters, letters of intent, letters of commitment and other recruitment related agreements.
- Assist with onboarding activities and management of onboarded staff (e.g., monthly check-ins, answering employment questions, providing guidance with electronic time keeping system, connecting staff to appropriate corporate POCs, etc.)
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for upcoming openings.
- Make recommendations to improve recruitment processes and create best practices to enable successful recruiting and candidate pipeline management.
- Work with recruiting team members and hiring managers to prioritize needs and communicate updates on candidate and position statuses.
- Perform administrative recruiting functions related to candidate and position tracking in applicant tracking systems.
- Provide weekly activity reports and serve as the POC to relate the latest updates, challenges and changes on recruitment activities.
- Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals and market the company.
- Promote company's reputation as a great place to work.
- Keep up to date with technological trends, solutions, and products.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of technical recruiting experience.
- 4+ years of recruiting experience within the federal government contracting industry.
- Cleared Recruiting experience preferred.
- Proven success in working virtually in a self-driven, self-motivating role where delivery expectations have been consistently met.
- Solid proficiency using a variety of recruitment tools to source candidates, including complex internet searches, campaign and blitz sourcing, social recruiting, job boards, search engines, networking (LinkedIn, professional associations) and direct sourcing.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and adjust easily to shifting focus of sourcing needs based on changing contract/proposal requirements.
- Proficient experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) including MS Teams.
- Must be detail oriented and able to effectively document and communicate details.
- Must have outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to maintain relationships in a positive and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of HR laws and practices including but not limited to EEO, OFCCP, and other federal government contracting regulations.
- Ability to work remotely from home with a high degree of accountability.
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required.
