BDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team! This position will be performed virtually from the individual's home office working on EST time schedule. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Role Overview
Business Analyst role will apply knowledge and experience as part of an Agile Scrum delivery team. The Business Analyst will work with BA team, QA team, development team and on designing and delivering IT solutions. The analyst will be required to work in all aspects of the software development cycle. The candidate should have extensive business analyst experience with regards to requirement analysis, working with developers transposing requirements into feasible and solid IT solutions, and support testing. The candidate should have strong critical thinking and analytical skills and have experience in cross-team collaboration and have an eye for details. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within the team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts, quality analyst, and developers to determine design and implementation of IT solutions on functional-basis and system integration perspective.
- Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users.
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
- Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
- Collaborates with product owners to determine project scope and vision.
- Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
- Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, metrics, and QA parameters.
- Create detailed documentation on requirements and any requirement changes impacting product delivery using Azure DevOps.
- Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
- Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, or other related discipline ( 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a business analyst
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document requirements and successfully share testing results and make recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and is highly motivated.
- Proficient in the analysis and understanding of functional specifications and design documents.
- Highly analytic and a critical thinker.
- Detail oriented with focus on documentation.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- MS Azure experience.
- SQL Experience.
- System integration knowledge
- Workflow management tool (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
