Augmedics, a medical device start-up developing an Augmented Reality Guided Surgery System, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join our team in Yokneam.
As a Purchasing Manager at Augmedics, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Issuing purchase demands and purchase orders of components, general and capital items for production line.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure optimal supply agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and finance, to optimize sourcing decisions.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant regulatory standards is a plus.
